The Ku Arts studio at The Mill started the year with a flurry of activity, with artists Tony Wilson, Melanie Koolmatrie, and Rhubee Neale working on individual projects. The expanded space, with more tables and some studio refurbishments, has supported great collaboration and productivity.

In March we were pleased to support Country Arts SA regional artists Jenna and Vera Richards, who used the studio and materials to develop work for the Regional Tarnanthi Exhibition. Our remote and regional materials supply program continues to send canvas, paint, and tools to artists across SA.

Coming up, the studio will host a practical skills session for the Ku Arts Curators Program. Lisa and Mel from Ku Arts will lead a workshop on stretching paintings and preparing them to hang, with Adele from The Mill covering wall preparation and installation.
