Supported by Arts South Australia, SICAD was developed in 2005 following an extended field trip around rural South Australia by representatives of Aṉanguku Arts, Arts South Australia and Country Arts SA.
The focus of SICAD is Aboriginal artists living in regional and remote areas of South Australia outside of the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands.
