Emma Stenhouse is a proud Ngarrindjeri woman and contemporary artist, her artistic practice is a journey of self-discovery, deepening her connection to her family, her heritage and informed by her deep relationship to land. Emma is guided by strong female role models from her community. Growing up in Broken Hill, NSW, Emma intrinsically draws on her connection to the arid landscape, this is evident in her use of colour. Now living on the coast, her palette embraces the lush green fields and blues of the waterways and Southern Ocean.
