This piece is named after the Country l grew up on, Boonwurrung Country. The emu feathers represent the wild emu population that was reintroduced into the area. The meeting place represents that even though we live far and wide, my family always comes back together on Boonwurrung country. The rings & waves in the woven portion represents the wild coastline.
