”This artwork is an acknowledgement to Elders and leaders in our community, both Past and Present. To those inspiring others by their own example to be the best version of themselves. Hearts beating, rippling outwards, interconnecting. In the quiet our spirits align. In the present moment we find our way. That space between our thoughts, our heart-song is playing. Play your song to the world.”

Tony Wilson is a South Australian artist with Kaurna, Ngarrindjeri, Narungga, and Italian ancestry. Guided by his Aboriginal heritage, Tony’s work integrates dot motifs, tracks, and cultural iconography to reflect upon deep connections to Country. Influenced by the natural world he draws on rhythms of the land, sky, and water to explore themes of identity and belonging. The fusion of these elements allows Tony to navigate the complexities of his dual heritage, creating a visual language that honours tradition. His work is an invitation to reflect, reconnect, and find meaning in the spaces between our histories.
